Blogs and Wikis Update

Fifth Graders had some fun experimenting on their own with the new blog and wiki tools referenced in the previous blog post. Most of them like the blog a lot better than the wiki, but I think that's because it's so easy to comment upon each others' work, and the interface of the blog is so much more straightforward. It's like Steve Krug said so many years ago, "Don't make me think!" I have put the groups into several different teams and next week they will actually build their debate pages. For homework, they will comment upon one another's pages and then we'll vote to see whose page is most convincing from an argument/design point of view.
