Sound Converter

This week, my fifth graders are making Revolutionary War Podcasts. They are using SoundCloud to record the interviews and commercials, and I was hoping they would include some contemporaneous music. Thus, I found and downloaded several samples for them from the "Popular Songs in American History" web site in the interest of saving time (I only see them once per week). Unfortunately, when I went to demonstrate how to upload the songs to the "playlist," I realized that they did not accept the "midi" file type. D'oh! So, I hurriedly found a "midi to mp3" sound converter by googling for one. I immediately found SoMiRe.com and the conversions worked perfectly! Thanks SolMiRe!
